Turkey Chorizo Empanadas

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Lb Diestel Turkey Chorizo
  • 1 Sheet Puff Pastry
  • 1 Egg

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees fahrenheit and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Brown 1/2 lb of the Diestel Turkey Chorizo in a pan.
  3. Bring puff pastry to room temperature. Dust surface with flour. Then roll out the puff pastry flat.
  4. Cut puff pastry into 4 inch circles.
  5. Fill puff pastry with large spoonful of cooked Diestel Turkey chorizo. Using a fork seal the edges into a half circle.
  6. Place each sealed puff pastry onto cookie sheet and then brush with egg yolk wash.
  7. Bake in oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
