Carnitas Turkey Tacos

Carnitas, but make ’em lean & full of protein from our turkey thighs, shredded and cooked sous vide style with traditional spices. Tastes like you cooked all day, takes mere minutes. Taco Tuesday can’t come soon enough.

Ingredients

  • 1 box Diestel Turkey Carnitas, thawed
  • 1 package corn or flour tortillas, taco size
  • 1 container black beans
  • 1 radish
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 lime
  • 1 container cojita
  • 1 bunch cilantro
  • 1⁄2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt (or to taste)

Directions

  1. Warm carnitas on stovetop following instructions on pack
  2. Quick pickle shredded carrot & radish in

    ½ cup apple cider vinegar, 1 Tbsp. sugar, & 1 tsp. kosher salt

  3. Warm black beans in a small saucepan
  4. Slice lime into wedges
  5. Crumble cojita
  6. Warm tortillas on skillet
  7. Assemble each taco or make a DIY taco set up and allow each person to customize as desired
