How to Cook a Diestel Bone-In Roast

    PREPARATION:

    1. Preheat oven to 325º F.
    2. To prepare simply remove soft oven ready bone-in-breast from the bag
    3. While it warms, remove your bone-in-breast from the bag and rub it with a blend of your favorite herbs and spices or use our Simple Rub recipe above.If it’s not fully thawed, simply run it under cold water, bag and all.*
    4. Place the bone-in-breast in an open roasting pan, breast side up. Cover the bottom of the pan with approximately 1 cup water or broth.
    5. Place your beautiful bone-in-breast  in the oven.

    ROASTING:

    Put your pan in the oven and use the chart below to determine how long you’ll have to wait. Your bird will be ready when its internal temperature reaches 165º F. (Don’t worry; it won’t be long.) As with any meat, you’ll want to use a thermometer to keep an eye on its internal temperature to make sure you aren’t over-roasting it.
