Hoisin Glazed Turkey Meatballs

organic-frozen-white-ground-turkey

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 2 tsp Grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • 2 Green onions (finely chopped)
  • 1/4 cup Hoisin sauce
  • 1/4 cup Chopped cilantro
  • 1 tbsp Lime juice
  • Sesame seeds and chopped onion for garnish

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground turkey, soy sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger, red pepper flakes, and green onions until well combined.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using an ice cream scoop, form meatballs, and place them on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes or until the internal temperature is 165 degrees.
  5. While the meatballs are baking, combine the hoisin sauce, chopped cilantro, and lime juice.
  6. Once the meatballs are finished cooking, glaze them in the hoisin sauce mixture.
  7. Serve over rice and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onion. Enjoy!
