Sonora, CA – Diestel Turkey Ranch is pleased to offer the 1st Non-GMO Natural & Organic sliced deli line. The verification is the latest testament to the company’s deepened commitment to sustainability and Non-GMO movement.
“We can’t think of a better way to celebrate our 65th anniversary than launching the first ever Non-GMO verified sliced deli products,” says Joan Diestel, Owner of Diestel Family Turkey Ranch. “It is very rewarding working with farmers to source Non-GMO grain, mill the grain ourselves, raise the turkeys on our ranches and create delicious deli meats that our customers can feel good about eating.”
The products that are now Non-GMO Project Verified includes the following sliced retail packages:
As we build support for this movement we are committed to expanding this certification across our products. The Non-GMO Project offers North America’s only independent verification for products made according to rigorous best practices for GMO (genetically modified organism) avoidance. Non-GMO Verified Diestel turkeys and pre-sliced deli turkey will be available starting June 15th at select grocers nationwide. For a full list of available products, visit www.diestelturkey.com.
