Turkey Meatloaf Panini

Ingredients

  • 2 slices Sourdough bread (or other sturdy bread of your choice)
  • 2 thick slices Diestel Turkey Meatloaf
  • 3 slices crispy bacon
  • 2 slices swiss cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 leaves lettuce
  • 1 butter (as needed)
  • 2 dijon mustard

Directions

  1. First, heat a panini press or grill pan over medium heat.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
  3. Place one bread slice butter-side down on the press.
  4. Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard on the bread (optional).
  5. Top with sliced meatloaf, bacon, Swiss cheese, and lettuce leaves.
  6. Add the other bread slice, butter-side up.
  7. Close the press and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  8. Cut in half and serve immediately!
