While turkey tends to be the star of any Thanksgiving show (especially if it’s Diestel Turkey), many of us deep down crave the gravy that comes along with it – especially when said gravy is wholesome, made organic bone broth, and seasoned to absolute perfection. The Diestel Family is so happy to introduce our Organic Turkey Gravy this holiday season to you and yours…but who says gravy should only be enjoyed on Turkey Day? With these recipes and our amazing turkey, gravy is sure to be a year-round staple around your family table.

Gravy Aioli

1 cup Organic Turkey Gravy
1/2 cup Mayonnaise
2 tbsp Miso
1 tbsp Lemon juice
2 tbsp Chives (chopped)
2 tbsp Thyme (chopped)
Salt and pepper (to taste)

DIRECTIONS: Prepare 1 cup of Diestel Organic Gravy according to the package. While the Diestel Organic Gravy is heating, in a separate bowl whisk together the remaining ingredients. Once the Diestel Organic Gravy is hot, let sit for a few minutes and then combine with the mayo mixture. This recipe can be prepared the day before, cover and chill, or serve immediately on your favorite turkey sandwich.

Gravy Aioli on Sandwich

Turkey Meatballs with Gravy

These Turkey Meatballs with Gravy are an easy weeknight meal. You can use premade meatballs or prepare your own in our creamy Organic Turkey Gravy!

1 box Organic Turkey Gravy
1 lb Diestel Ground Turkey
1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs
1 Egg
1/4 tsp Allspice
1/4 tsp Garlic powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Olive oil
1/2 tsp Dijon Mustard
1/2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 cup Sour Cream
Parsley (for garnish)

DIRECTIONS: In a large mixing bowl, combine the Diestel Ground Turkey, bread crumbs, egg, all spice, garlic powder and salt. Form the mixture into small meatballs and set aside on a plate. In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook meatballs until cooked throughout or an internal temperature of 160. Remove meatballs from pan and set aside. Add the Diestel Organic Turkey Gravy, Dijon Mustard, Worcestershire Sauce, and Sour Cream over medium heat. Whisk together until well combined. Return meatballs to pan and coat with gravy. Serve on their own or over mashed potatoes. Garnish with salt, pepper, and parsley to taste.

Note: This recipe can be prepared with ready made meatballs for an even faster preparation. If you’d like to make your own meatballs, continue on this recipe.
