Every day we ask ourselves: “What am I going to eat today”? And as we purchase food, we're make a choice where to invest our money. By investing in companies that we believe in, we're supporting their values and ability to continue to do business.
Just like voting at the polls, when we vote we choose what our future is going to look like. And just like voting at the polls, the more of us that participate (and in this case, consider where we're investing our dollars), the more we're able to create change.
Our tool arsenal doesn’t stop with what we think and teach. It continues with how we vote—with our dollars.
Every dollar we spend for something we believe in, and the values that went into making it, is a vote for more of those kinds of products, practices, and values. The same goes for dollars we don’t give to practices and products we simply can’t stand behind.
