Turkey Meatball Gyros

These Turkey Meatball Gyros are great for dinner and then pack up some leftovers for lunch to-go the next day!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup Bread crumbs
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • Dash Pepper
  • 2 Cloves Minced Garlic
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 6 pieces Pita
  • 1/2 cup Tzatziki
  • For Garnish Cucumber, tomato & red onion

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, bread crumbs, egg, paprika, chili powder, salt, pepper, garlic & oregano.
  3. Using an ice cream scoop, form meatballs and place on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake meatballs for 16 – 18 minutes.
  5. Assemble your gyros. Take a pita and add tzatziki. Top with two meatballs, cucumber, tomato and red onion.
