Creamy Ground Turkey & Shells

Hello comfort food! This Creamy Ground Turkey & Shells recipe is the perfect Sunday night dinner to enjoy with the fam on a cool fall evening. Gobble up all the goodness with this easy recipe!

  • 1 lb Diestel Ground Turkey
  • 1/2 lb shell pasta
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tsp hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire
  • 1 tsp italian seasoning
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 16 oz tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup half and half
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Parmesan cheese (for garnish)


  1. In a medium pot, boil water for the pasta. Prepare pasta according to package.
  2.  In a large saucepan, cook the ground turkey over medium heat. Add the onions and continue to cook until onions have softened.
  3.  Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  4.  Add hot sauce, Worcestershire, italian seasoning, red pepper flakes and flour. Stir until well combined.
  5.  Add the chicken broth and stir.
  6.  Add the tomato sauce, tomato paste, and cream cheese. Stir until well combined and simmer for 8 minutes.
  7. Decrease heat to low and stir in the half and half. Remove from heat and stir in the cheddar cheese.
  8. Add the pasta shells and stir to combine.
  9. Garnish with parmesan and enjoy!
