Cranberry Chutney

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp Butter
  • 2 Stalks Celery(chopped)
  • 1 Yellow Onion(chopped)
  • 4 Cups Cranberries
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Honey
  • 1 Tbsp Cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tsp Finely grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 tsp All Spice
  • 1 Cup Water
  • Apple(finely chopped)

Directions

  1. Heat butter in a 4 quart saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add celery and onion stirring until soft.
  3. Add cranberries, brown sugar, sugar, honey, cinnamon, ginger, all spice, ginger, apple and 1 cup water.
  4. Cook until cranberries burst or approximately 15 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring frequently, until berries are tender and chutney looks like thick jam, approximately 1 hour.
  6. Serve with your Thanksgiving turkey, Turkey sandwiches and so much more!
