Brussel Sprouts, Sweet Potato & Turkey Bacon Medley

You’ll want to save this delicious Thanksgiving Side Dish for your own feast! It’s a medley of Brussel Sprouts & Sweet Potato finished with the smokey flavors of your favorite Diestel Turkey Bacon.

  • 6 Slices Turkey Bacon
  • 2 Cups Brussel Sprouts
  • 3 Cups Sweet Potatoes(peeled and cubed)
  • 3 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 1 Cup Pecans
  • 1/2 Cup Pomegranate seeds
  • To taste Salt and Pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Add your brussel sprouts to one and sweet potato to the other.
  3. Drizzle both the brussel sprouts and sweet potato with olive oil. Then add salt and pepper.
  4. Drizzle the sweet potato with maple syrup.
  5. Bake for 20 – 25 minutes. Check on them half way through and flip for even browning.
  6. While your veggies are baking, cook your Diestel Turkey Bacon in a pan. Once cooked, let cool and chop bacon. Set aside.
  7. When veggies are finished cooking, place in a large mixing bowl and toss with Turkey Bacon, pecans and pomegranate seeds.
