Baked Frittata with Breakfast Turkey Sausage

This Baked Frittata with Diestel Breakfast Sausage is easy and a great way to feed the whole family a delicious Sunday brunch.

  • 1/2 lb ground Diestel Turkey Breakfast Sausage
  • 9 eggs
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp sun dried tomato (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 onion (chopped)
  • 1/2 bell pepper (chopped)
  • 1/3 cup arugula
  • 1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 green onions (chopped for garnish)


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. In a cast iron skillet, add olive oil over medium heat. Cook breakfast sausage, onion, and bell pepper until meat is browned.
  3. While the meat is cooking, whisk together the eggs, Greek yogurt, and sun dried tomato.
  4. Once the meat is cooked, turn off heat and pour the egg mixture over the top.
  5. Sprinkle the frittata with the feta cheese.
  6. Bake frittata for 25 minutes or until the eggs have set.
