When they say “chili” most people say “beef” and that’s a crying shame. Why? Because there are dozens of ways to get a darn good chili with darn good turkey.
Okay, we admit that we’re being modest. The options are literally endless, but who’s got time for a list that long? Here are two of our favorite places to get started, but don’t be sheepish about trying turkey in your favorite chili recipe, too, whether it calls for it or not!
Chunky Turkey Chili: A cold weather Diestel family favorite. Tasty, quick, easy and clean. It tastes outstanding served over grated cabbage or baked potatoes. For a little extra oomph, serve with grated cheese or a tablespoon of sour cream or plain yogurt. Enjoy the flavor and the healthy choice!
Pumpkin Turkey Chili: It’s March and we’re officially in slow cooker and pressure cooker season. Anyone else obsessed with an easy meal? Try this Pumpkin Chili recipe made with our whole muscle Ground Turkey and sausage from our friends over at Pederson’s Farm.
